Yeah, not a fan of 3DCG in an RPGM game myself. Styles I think clash too much. Also don't like koikatsu being used in 3DCG for other games (saw a bunch of VN). Feels cheap and kinda scummy of devs that do this.
It's better than those real porn games where most the time the pics for the characters and scenes will not be the same people all the time lol.
I get that some devs aren't artists, and nothing against them, but it's one of those things that has become sort of a pet peeve for me after seeing so many on this site.

I get the whole sentiment you’re vibing with here, but I just want to check that you are aware all of these scenes and moment-to-moment CGs can take just as much time as a 2D artist’s drawing to set up, pose, and capture correctly. They're not particularly taking short cuts here over 2D artwork. Characters still have to be designed as well. The only "scummy" thing i would agree on is that they are using an existing games assets a lot of the time. but hey, people gotta work with what they can get there hands on. So many games we wouldn't have these days if developers were not able to start their projects off like this.

Just my two cents.
